Duration: 8 hours
Availability: All year
Step into the pages of Yugoslav history on a tour that blends monumental architecture, war-time bravery, and Cold War secrets.
Your day begins in Mostar with a visit to the iconic Partisan Cemetery, a masterpiece of brutalist architecture and a symbol of anti-fascist resistance. Next, travel to Jablanica, where you’ll explore the Battle of the Neretva Museum and see the famous destroyed bridge — a powerful relic of WWII strategy.
We’ll stop in Jablanica for a traditional Bosnian lunch, where you can enjoy a handmade pita of your choice — meat or vegetarian (cheese, potato, or greens) — served with a drink.
After lunch, we continue to Konjic, where the highlight of the tour awaits: a 90-minute guided visit to the Tito’s Nuclear Bunker, one of the best-kept Cold War secrets in Europe.
After the tour, we’ll return to Mostar with minds full of history and hearts full of impressions.
